Benjamin Archer received a land grant in Washington Co. Tennessee in 1803. He was listed in the tax lists for Green Co. Tennessee in 1812, and in Washington Co. Tennessee in 1814 and 1819.
A Private would be given 800 acres of land, a Captain, 1,600 acres of
land, and so on.
10 November 1784, North Carolina land grant to Ruben Bayles was witnessed by
Benjamin Archer.
8 June 1797, North Carolina land grant #1260 to Isaac Bacon, 200 acres of
land @ 50 shillings per 100 acres, witnessed by Benjamin Archer.
25 August 1797 James Dunn sold land to Jessee Rustin, witnessed by Benjamin
Archer.

friends for years, and R. S. Ferguson married most of the Archer family. He was
also a witness on Joseph W. Sr. Will.
