The Parish register says that he left the Catholic Church and moved to West Virginia. The 29th Ohio Volunteer Infantry is NOT one of militia Regiments filled with Noble Co., OH recruits, but then some of the Noble Co., OH men appear in units from other parts of eastern Ohio.
